As a big tactical advantage, they employ an extra large 90 millimeter objective lens for maximum brightness, eliminating the need for IR illumination. Standard features of the D-760 include waterproof, nitrogen-purged housings, an illuminated mildot reticle that changes from red-on-green to yellow-on-green with the flick of a switch, high-grade multi-coated optics, and a low profile, heavy-duty Weaver mounting system.
